We welcome motivated postdocs, JRFs, and graduate students who want to join us. However, we are a fairly large group at this point and so we must turn away many good applicants. If you are absolutely committed to research in evolution or ecology, read on!
It is important that you read and think about our research before you approach me for a position. I also recommend reading some of our papers so that you get a sense for the kind of work we do. If you find our research interesting, please email me with your CV and a brief description of your research interests. I cannot respond to emails that do not include this information.
Summer interns: We are no longer accepting applications for summer internships in 2017.
MSc project interns: We expect to accept one MSc project intern in 2017-2018.
PhD applicants: PhD students typically join the lab through the joint NCBS admissions, but I also accept students with UGC/CSIR/equivalent fellowships who register externally for a PhD. If you fall in either category and are interested in our work, please email me. I am likely to accept 1-2 PhD students in 2018-2019.
Postdoc applicants: Currently we do not have a funded postdoctoral position. However, if you are interested in joining us I encourage you to look at various intramural and extramural fellowships and funding sources. I will be happy to work with you for your application.
JRFs/Project assistants: Currently I do not have a funded project assistant position. Please contact me if you have a UGC/CSIR/equivalent fellowship and are interested in our work.
